YAYOI (Japanese) based in UK since late 80’s, graduated as a teacher from Nippon Physical University Tokyo. She also pursued the Olympics as a gymnast. Later she studied journalism at the Columbia University, New York.

忍者の故郷を後に、器械体操のオリンピック選手を目指し日本体育大学へ。外資系企業勤務後、ジャーナリズム勉強のためニューヨーク、コロンビア大学留学。東京にて広告代理店国際部ＰＲ業務、出版社にてフォトジャーナリストとして活躍。1989、渡英以来ロンドン在住。10年間のファッション業界を経、ライフスタイル・フォトグラファーとして日本、海外で撮影を続ける。撮影対象は、媒体、コマーシャル用ウエブサイト、広告PR、ビジュアル書籍。特にイングイングリッシュガーデンやイングリッシュローズの企画撮影を続けている。
